Ralph Lauren x Palace
Menswear giant Ralph Lauren is adding another level of cool to their brand by connecting with skateboarding mega brand Palace. The sweater with Polo bear doing a kick flip is perfection.
Fear of God x Nike
Designer Jerry Lorenzo teams up with Nike to create a perfect blend of Streetwear and athletic wear. The Nike x Fear of God 1 sneaker drops December 15, priced at $350 it will be hard to get your hands on them.
Club Monaco x Reigning Champ
If you follow my Instagram account you have seen me pledge my love for this collab. Two great Canadian brands teaming up to create simple, stylish and comfortable athletic wear.
Off White x Nike/ Off White x IKEA
I’ve put two in one here, Virgil Abloh and his Off White brand have been the talk of the industry for the past three years but these two collabs stand out as my favourites. In 2018 Off- White continued their work with Nike coming out with a soccer influenced clothing line and climaxing with my favourite sneaker collaboration the Off White x Vapormax. On the other end of the spectrum is his partnership with IKEA, personal I can’t wait to get a rug that says “Keep Off”.
Uniqlo X Christophe Lemaire
Lemaire and Uniqlo have worked together for a number of years but this years collection is the best of them all. Lemaire brings simple designs but has perfectly incorporated an equinox inspired colour palette.
Fred Perry x RAF Simons
I haven’t always been the biggest fan of RAF Simons designs or past collaborations but I really love this venture. Fred Perry brings their timeless sensibility while Simons adds a bit of flare making for a perfect combination.
Kith x Versace
This pairing is a match made in Streetwear heaven. It’s a classic win- win- loss situation. Versace wins because they get to capitalize on the Streetwear trend. Kith wins because they are able to work with a fashion giant and are opened up to a new market. And I lose because I can’t afford any of it.
Just Don x Mitchell & Ness
Most of us made fun of Jona Hill this summer when he was spotted rocking a blank Phoenix Suns jersey tucked into his dress pants but few people knew he was wearing a Just Don design. The best piece of the collection was spotted earlier in the summer in Las Vegas at the NBAs summer league when LeBron James sported these Muay Thai inspired Lakers shorts. (Pairing them with the all purple Zoom Generations didn’t hurt)
Adidas x Alexander Wang
Another solid year of designs from Adidas and Alexander Wang, nothing in the collection blows you away but pretty much everything produced looks fashionable and comfortable.
